Barb Feige

Barb is an accomplished non-profit management professional with over 25 years of experience in board development, governance, planning, fundraising, program development, special event production, and budgeting and finance.  Most recently, she worked for the American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania (ACLU) for 16 years, serving as the Deputy Director and Director of Administration until February 2019. Barb worked as a point person and mentor for the OnBoard program of the Legacy Heritage Fund, providing guidance and skills building in organizational governance to young board members of local Jewish organizations.  Previously, Barb worked for the Jewish Healthcare Foundation and the Jewish Federatiion of Pittsburgh.


Alex Speck

Program Director

Contact Alex about about youth, young adult, and family programming.

Alex has a rich history of growing up and working in the Pittsburgh Jewish community. In addition to working with youth at several synagogues, he spent six years as the Athletic Director of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh. In addition, he also served as the Program Director of Emma Kaufmann Camp during that time. Alex has a Masters Degree in Jewish Professional Studies from the Spertus Institute of Jewish Learning and Leadership. Alex is passionate about working with the members of our community to build stronger Jewish identity.

Samantha SalTzman

Campaign Coordinator/ Administrative Assistant

Samantha is a Pittsburgh native with strong ties to the Pittsburgh Jewish community. She attended the University of Pittsburgh for her undergraduate education, and she graduated with a BA in English Writing, a minor in Religious Studies, and certificates in Jewish Studies and Gender Studies. She also has a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Clarion University, which sparked her interest in genealogy research. She is currently pursuing a certificate in Cybersecurity from CCAC. Previously, she worked at the Hillel Jewish University Center of Pittsburgh as an administrative and operations assistant. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, serving as co-President of her sorority alumnae association, and attending Pens games with her sister.
