The lifecycle for the maintenance of stained glass windows is about sixty years. Our beloved sanctuary windows were installed in the 1960s, meaning it’s time to give them some tender loving care. On January 11th, Hunt Stained Glass Studios, who first designed and fabricated them, began the four-week process of removal and repairs.

The rehabilitation process will take about a year, after which each window will be placed back in its original position. You may notice hydraulic lifts and scaffolding on the Shady and Solway sides of the building while this is being done. The preservation of these precious stained glass windows is an exciting step for the future of the building and our community.
