Tree of Life In-Person Service Protocols

  • All who wish to attend services are required to register during the week prior to the service. This enables us to do contact tracing in the case of a positive COVID test in the building.
  • You will be asked to inform us if you have been vaccinated.
  • While wearing a mask is not necessary for those who are fully vaccinated (two weeks past vaccination) according to CDC guidelines, you are welcome to wear one if you feel more comfortable doing so.
  • Any individuals who have not been vaccinated, including children above the age of 2, will be required to wear a mask.
  • Even if you have been vaccinated, Rodef Shalom requires all individuals to wear a mask when walking in hallways and other areas of the building.
  • Vaccinated individuals are not required to sit socially distant. Please sit where you are most comfortable. We ask those not vaccinated to sit in the rear of Levy Hall and wear your mask.
  • Unmasked public singing is welcome and encouraged by those who have been vaccinated.
  • When Torah reading resumes, there will be no procession around the room. While we will call people up for aliyot who have been vaccinated, touching of the Torah in any manner is not yet permitted.
  • If you wish to accept an aliyah, you must have provided documentation of vaccination in advance.
  • We will provide prayer books, kipot and tallitot for any who need. Please return these items at the conclusion of services.
  • Entering and exiting Levy Hall should be done carefully to avoid crowding.
  • These protocols are subject to change as CDC guidelines and Pennsylvania regulations are revised.
